Totolino Show: A Joyful Children’s Day Circus Celebration at Willesden Green Library

🎪🎈📚 We enjoyed celebrating International Children’s Day with a joyful afternoon of stories, creativity and fun at Willesden Green Library. Organised in partnership with Brent Libraries and the Romanian Artists Association UK, this special day brought together families from across the Romanian and wider London community.
The day began with a special donation of Romanian children’s books from the Institute to the library, reaffirming our commitment to making Romanian language and culture accessible to young readers and families in the UK.
Children then gathered for a storytelling session led by RCI London Director Aura Woodward, before taking part in a range of activities that animated the library space with imagination, colour, and excitement: arts and crafts workshops inspired by Romanian traditions, face painting, balloon modelling and character interaction.
The celebration continued with Totolino Show, an enchanting circus performance that delighted audiences of all ages with laughter, magic, juggling, and playful surprises.
We were delighted to have with us Brent Council representatives Cllr Arshad Mahmood and Cllr Saqlain Choudry, alongside members of our community.
Many thanks to our partners at Brent Libraries and the Romanian Artists Association UK, as well as to all the artists, volunteers, families, and community members who joined us for this special celebration.
