The Morello Quartet Open the 2026 Recitals of the Enescu Concerts Series

🎶 Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting the opening concert of the 2026 Enescu Concerts Series with a vibrant performance by The Morello Quartet. The evening was opened by RCI London director Aura Woodward, marking the start of a new season of chamber music at the Institute and celebrating the longest-running programme of the Romanian Cultural Institute in London. 🎻

Violinists Anna Caban and Ana Popescu-Deutsch, violist Kesari Pundarika, and cellist Elliott Bailey offered the audience a wonderful performance that carried us from Beethoven’s luminous “Harp” quartet through to Enescu’s rich and compelling sound world.
