“Literature as Redemption”

On the first day of the London Book Fair, we inaugurated Romania's stand at Olympia Exhibition Centre in the company of our special guests, distinguished poet Ana Blandiana and her translator Viorica Patea. Opening speeches by H.E. Mrs Laura Popescu, Romania's ambassador to the UK, and RCI London director Aura Woodward.

We were also happy to see old friends from Romania and the Romanian Cultural Institute, including authors, translators, publishers and journalists.
