Brâncuși 150: Brâncuși as Photographer – A Conversation

Last night, we were delighted to partner with Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery for a special event dedicated to Constantin Brâncuși as a photographer, held within the exhibition space showcasing remarkable works from David Grob’s collection.

As the third event in our Brâncuși 150 Season, the conversation, introduced by RCI London director Aura Woodward and expertly moderated by art historian Dr. Jonathan Vernon, brought together an engaged audience and offered fresh perspectives on Brâncuși’s lesser-known photographic practice.

We were especially pleased to hear gallerist and collector David Grob reflect on his early encounters with Brâncuși’s original photographs - works he first acquired in his youth, some of which were noted at the time by the renowned sculptor Henry Moore.

Many thanks to our partners, to David Grob and Jonathan Vernon for an inspiring evening, and to everyone who joined us!

And a big thank you to Alex Coman for the photographs.
