INFOCUS: Melancholia Pictures - Short Film Screenings & Conversation

Last week, we had an inspiring evening at our INFOCUS: Melancholia Pictures – Short Film Screenings & Conversation! 🎬✨

Opened by RCI London director Aura Woodward, the event brought together a captivating programme of contemporary short films curated by Melancholia Pictures, including Fine (Bine), Celebration Day (Zi de Sărbătoare), The Boy’s Gaze and Near Light, each offering unique perspectives and powerful storytelling.

Following the screenings, we were treated to a rich and engaging conversation with our talented guest speakers - Emmy award-winning producer Gub Neal, Melancholia Pictures’ director and executive producer Niccolò Salvato, and producer & founder Mara Cracaleanu - who shared insights into creative practice, cross-border collaboration, and the evolving landscape of independent cinema.
