Yesterday, 29 March, we had the pleasure of screening the Romanian short film "If I Float" (2024), directed by Bogdan Alecsandru, as part of Cambridge Festival at Jesus College, Cambridge.

The programme featured a diverse range of short films from across Europe, celebrating cultural diversity, creativity, and contemporary storytelling. Audiences had the opportunity to experience films from countries including Romania, Estonia, Lithuania, Ireland, Poland, Slovakia, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Hungary, and Scotland.
The screening was part of Europe Fest, a collaborative initiative developed through the partnership between Panorama and Jesus College, Cambridge. Global Cultures at Jesus College is produced by Panorama and directed by Matthew Webb, aiming to present a carefully curated selection of short films from the latest edition of the In Short, Europe programme, previously showcased in London.
We were happy to witness the audience's warm reception and the rounds of applauses that succeeded each screening.
Many thanks to our partners and to everyone who joined us!
