š¶ Last night, we hosted a truly inspiring evening as part of the Enescu Concerts Series, celebrating the energy and artistry of a new generation of Romanian pianists. The event opened with a warm welcome address by Aura Woodward, director of RCI London, setting the tone for an evening dedicated to emerging talent and musical excellence.
š·š“ Organised in partnership with ARTA CLASICA Cultural Association (IaČi), under the guidance of Professor Ioana StÄnescu, the recital brought to the stage five remarkable young š¹ musicians ā Maria RĆ®znic, Casandra Artene, Luca Vulpe, Mihnea-Constantin Nichifor and Ioana Chiriac. Aged between 11 and 25, these gifted pianists captivated the audience with a dynamic and expressive programme, showcasing both cornerstone works of the piano repertoire and Romanian compositions. Their performances were met with genuine enthusiasm, the audience rewarding each appearance with warm and generous applause.
Many thanks to the young musicians for sharing their artistry, to ARTA CLASICA Cultural Association for this collaboration, and to all those who joined us despite the challenges posed by Londonās tube strike. Your presence made the evening all the more special.
