The Romanian Cultural Institute in London supported the participation of the director Oana Tămaș and the radio drama show "Youth without old age and life without death - Director's Notes", within the Radio Theater Festival: UK International Radio Drama Festival (RDF) - 2024, which took place from 25-29 March in Canterbury.
The festival provided UK audiences with the rare pleasure of listening to audio dramas in other languages, accompanied by English translations of the scripts. The International Arts Partnership in Canterbury organised the festival. Reached its 10th edition this year, 63 productions from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Czech Republic, Serbia, Ukraine, Romania, Ireland, Italy, France, Holland, Poland, Japan, Iran, Spain, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Albania, Georgia competed for the prizes awarded by a jury of 12 radio theater artists.
The show supported by ICR London was made in memory of the director Mona Marian Chirilă and is a collage of texts - directing notes of the show of the same name (staged in 1995 at the "Puck" Puppet Theater in Cluj-Napoca) and personal correspondence of the director during her directorship at the same theater and during the incurable disease that ended her life at the age of 52. The show was made by a team from Cluj-Napoca, at the invitation of the Puck Theatre and was directed by Oana Tamaș.
