A truly magical evening at BFI Southbank last Friday, at the screening of The Island - Film. The audience was enthralled by Anca Damian's poetic, surreal animation and the live, hypnotic music from the Balanescu Ensemble, which performed a brilliant score composed by Alexander Balanescu specifically for this film.
We're so lucky to have had the creatives answer our questions after the screening; we all feel inspired to watch the film anew and discover new meanings!
