PAUL NEAGU – THE MONOGRAPH

Updated: Jul 30

Two Editors in Conversation

ree

The series of events organised on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition "arch-Neagu. Paul Neagu and Architecture" at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London continued with the launch of a seminal and monumental work to which contributed no less than 11 Paul Neagu specialists, "Paul Neagu – The Monograph". We were honoured to have with us Magda Radu and Georg Schöllhammer, the two editors of the Monograph, who discussed the legacy of Paul Neagu in the broader frame of European art and shared with the public fascinating details of the artist's practice and what makes him unique.

The event was opened by Raluca Ioana Cimpoiasu, Deputy Director of the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, who welcomed the public and presented the two guests and by Iolanda M. B. Costide, a close friend of Paul Neagu's and one of the trustees of The Paul Neagu Estate UK, who spoke about the lengthy, but rewarding process of creating and publishing the Monograph.

We were fortunate to have in the audience many people who knew Paul Neagu and who shared with us touching stories about the artist. As always, many thanks to our guests and our warm public. After the conversation, the two editors signed copies of "Paul Neagu - The Monograph".

The exhibition can be visited every day until 7 July (including) from 11 AM to 5 PM.
