About the event
The Romanian Cultural Institute in London, in collaboration with Willesden Green Library (Brent Libraries) and Romanian Artists Association UK, is delighted to invite children and families to a festive celebration of International Children’s Day on 30 May 2026, centred around the vibrant Totolino Show, a non-verbal circus performance filled with humour and imagination.
Running from 11:00am to 3:30pm, the programme unfolds across the welcoming spaces of the library, beginning with a series of creative workshops inspired by Romanian traditions. From egg painting to decorating folk-inspired costumes, children are invited to explore colour, pattern and storytelling through hands-on activities in a relaxed and playful setting.
The highlight of the day, Totolino Show, takes over the library with an energetic mix of circus acts and interactive moments. Audiences can expect a dynamic blend of hula hoop, club and ball juggling, plate spinning, magic and balloon modelling, alongside cheerful encounters and gentle audience…
