In celebration of the UK theatrical release of the award-winning feature The Yellow Tie on 9 October, we kindly invite you to spend an unforgettable evening in the company of the people who stood behind this successful international project, which brought again into the spotlight the amazing destiny of Romanian conductor Sergiu Celibidache: director Serge Ioan Celebidachi, the legendary musician's son, and producer Adela Vrînceanu Celebidachi. They will be in conversation with filmmaker Mara Cracaleanu.
Expect an evening of shared personal experiences and insights into the making of this ambitious cinematic project with a focus on the intricate process of bringing Sergiu Celibidache’s story to the big screen. The conversation will be followed by a Q&A.
The event is organised in partnership with the Embassy of Romania in the United Kingdom and Aqua Carpatica. Opening remarks by H.E. Laura Popescu, Ambassador of Romania to the UK.
