About the event
This December, Romania marks 36 years since the anti-communist Revolution of 1989. The Romanian Cultural Institute in London invites you to reflect on this landmark event that shaped the European trajectory of our country in an event featuring the screening of one of Romania's most acclaimed recent film productions - "The New Year That Never Came" (2024). This special screening will be prefaced by a short introduction by director Bogdan Mureșanu and actor Mihai Călin, who will also join us after the projection for a Q&A. Discussions moderated by journalist and author
