About the event
We are glad to support the screening of the groundbreaking short film If I Float (2024) by rising-star Romanian director Bogdan Alecsandru within the Global Cultures Festival at Jesus College, Cambridge. The Festival is produced by Panorama and led by Director Matthew Webb. Its goal is to contribute to Cambridge beyond our walls, offering unique cultural moments with world-class figures through its regular events, open to all.
The screening is part of the Europe Fest strand of the festival and will take place on 29 March from 5:30 PM in West Court, Jesus College. The entrance is free and you can book your place HERE.
This showcase is a celebration of the rich tradition of European films organised in partnership with EUNIC and member states, the EU Delegation. The Festival will screen short films from Estonia, the Faroe Islands, Lithuania, Ireland, Poland, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Turkey, Romania, Germany, Hungary, and Scotland.…
