About the event

For the second concert dedicated to Romania’s National Day this year, the Romanian Cultural Institute in London is pleased to invite you to a chamber music recital in Edinburgh. Featuring talented musicians Adriana Cristea (violin) and Mina Beldimănescu (piano), the event is organised in partnership with the Consulate General of Romania in Edinburgh and hosted by the imposing St Giles' Cathedral.


The programme will include an attractive selection of works by Mozart, Paganini, Faure and Bartók, as well as pieces by some of Romania’s most notable composers: George Enescu, Mircea Chiriac, Constantin Dimitrescu and Angheluș Dinicu.


Adriana Cristea is a Romanian-British soloist and producer of several recital programmes and digital projects, among others. She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where she studied with Yossi Zivoni.
