About the event
The Romanian Cultural Institute and the Embassy of Romania in London, in collaboration with EUNIC London, the EU Delegation to the UK and the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK, invite you to join us on Thursday, 24 September 2026, at Sinfonia Smith Square, to celebrate the European Day of Languages.
The event showcases Europe’s linguistic and cultural diversity and promotes language learning through a programme of interactive activities organised for the general public, school groups, university students and education professionals. This year’s programme will also include a dedicated session for post-secondary and higher education.
The Romanian Cultural Institute in London will take part with a stand dedicated to the Romanian language and culture, presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Romania in the United Kingdom and the Romanian Language Office within the Romanian Cultural Institute. Visitors will be able to discover information about Romania, promotional materials and resources for learning Romanian.
