Dynamic Mithras Trio Open the 2024-2025 Season of the Enescu Concerts Series

Praised for their ‘exhilarating, highly-toned’ performances (The Arts Desk), the Mithras Trio have established themselves as one of the next generation’s most exciting and dynamic piano trios. We are honoured to kick off our 17th classical music season in the company of talented and dedicated musicians Ionel Manciu – violin, Leo Popplewell – cello and Dominic Degavino – piano, who will present an exciting programme of Enescu, Schubert and contemporary Moldovan composer Anatol Ștefăneț.

Established in 2017 while students at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Mithras Trio shot to international recognition winning first prize at the 10th Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition (2019).
