About the event
We are happy to support director Oana Tămaș's in-person presence at this year's UK International Radio Drama Festival. Oana Tămaș will present the Romanian audio drama "Everlasting Youth and Life without Death - Director's Note", co-directed with Delia Gavlințchi and produced by A Puppet Media Production in partnership with Radio Romania Cluj.
“Everlasting Youth and Life without Death – Director’s Notes" is a documentary audio drama, commemorating 10 years since the passing of Romanian theatre director Mona Marian (17 August 1961 – 16 September 2013). The play is based on a collage of texts - director's notes of the performance with the same name (staged in 1995 at the Puck Puppet Theatre in Cluj-Napoca), Mona's correspondence from her time as manager of Puck Puppet Theatre and during the incurable illness that abruptly ended her life at the age of 52.
This year's edition of the Festival, entitled The Accomplishment of Many Years, takes place from 25 – 29 March 2024 and welcomes producers and audiences alike for an exciting and stimulating week of listening and discussion.
