In 2026, marking 150 years since the birth of Constantin Brâncuși, universally regarded as the patriarch of modern sculpture, the Romanian Cultural Institute in London dedicates an entire season of events to the life and legacy of this seminal artist. Declared nationally as the Year of Brâncuși, 2026 offers a unique opportunity to revisit his artistic vision through contemporary, interdisciplinary perspectives.
Opening the Brâncuși 150 Season, the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, in collaboration with the Municipality of Târgu Jiu, presents an immersive and multidisciplinary event hosted throughout the Institute’s historic building at 1 Belgrave Square.
