About the event

Virtuoso pianist Cătălin Răducanu kicks off our 2024 Enescu Concerts Series with an eclectic project which brings together classical music, jazz and folk songs. The programme features piano works by Chopin, Debussy, Dan Dediu and George Enescu, alongside the cimbalom arrangement of Erik Satie's Gnossienne No. 1, works by Toni Iordache and Ciprian Porumbescu. Join us at 1 Belgrave Square to enjoy a dazzling performance, which breaks down cultural barriers while navigating different genres, aided by a piano and cimbalom.

An Artist, a Piano and a Cimbalom - Classical, Jazz, Folklore is a Pro Contemporania production in partnership with The Culture Club.

Programme:

Piano

Dan Dediu – "Les Barricades Mysterieuses – Reloaded"

Frédéric Chopin – "Ballade" no. 4 in F minor op. 52
