Acclaimed Mezzosoprano Ruxandra Donose and Pianist Sergiu Tuhuțiu in Recital at RCI London

The series of events Fairy-Tale Recitals… Everywhere, now in its second edition, arrives in London, where mezzo-soprano Ruxandra Donose and pianist Sergiu Tuhuțiu will give an extraordinary recital within the Romanian Cultural Institute in London's most popular permanent programme, the Enescu Concerts Series.

Ruxandra Donose, one of the most highly regarded voices on the European opera stage, returns to London alongside pianist Sergiu Tuhuțiu in a programme designed to highlight not only the diverse expressiveness of opera and lied, but also the sensitivity of the Romanian romance, the charm of the canzonetta, and the refinement of the chanson.

The evening’s programme is conceived as a bridge between tradition and modernity, between national heritage and the wider European legacy, bringing to the fore well-known works as well as pieces that are seldom performed beyond Romania’s borders.
